Job summary

Security 101 in Phoenix is seeking a Field Project Manager with hands-on experience in commercial electronic security systems to plan, organize, and direct installation projects. You will supervise crews and subcontractors, estimate job charges, and ensure profitability with accurate reporting.

You will train and develop staff, uphold quality of installations, and maintain client communications while coordinating with operations to meet project milestones and codes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with commercial access control and IP-based video systems.
• Experience managing commercial fire alarm installation projects including scheduling, inspections and testing.
• Familiarity with NFPA 72, NEC, AHJ codes and related standards.
• Strong project management, resource allocation, and cost control knowledge.
• Ability to manage budgets and forecast financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current project plans, specs, and customer communications log.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services, ensure timely delivery to site.
• Prepare installation plan and manage procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations for resource planning of technicians and subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with trades.
• Prepare and process internal and external reports and updates.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance of systems.
