Job summary

National Fuel Gas Company is seeking a Field Operations Technical Trainer – Mechanical Training to support our West Seneca, NY operations hub. The role focuses on delivering hands-on training, OQ administration, and developing practical materials for field personnel to work safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical and field operations experience, strong teaching ability, and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus supervisory field operations, mechanical, construction, utility, or skilled trades experience.
• Experience teaching, training, or explaining technical information in a classroom, lab, or field setting.
• Current Operator Qualification status, or willingness to complete the required training and qualifications through National Fuel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver initial and refresher training for Field Operations personnel.
• Coordinate qualification schedules and evaluations of covered tasks.
• Develop and improve training materials and tools.
