Job summary

John Evans Recruiting represents a commercial water filtration services company in Baltimore seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a 20-person operations department. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer of a 33-employee, family-owned company with a strong Mid-Atlantic reputation.

The Operations Manager will supervise field service technicians, install technicians, and other operations staff on the road and at the Baltimore HQ, ensuring efficient service delivery and field support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations or field technician teams in a water filtration, wastewater, chemical, HVAC, or mechanical services company.
• Ability to be in the Baltimore office 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
• Willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day field and internal operations.
• Strengths in coaching and developing staff.

• Coordinate and optimize daily field operations and resource allocation.
• Partner with leadership to ensure service quality and on-time delivery.

Our client has been in business for decades with an outstanding reputation in the Mid-Atlantic. This organization purifies water for commercial customers in the MD/DC/VA/DE/PA region, to include major hospitals, universities, and research facilities.

The Operations Manager will oversee field service technicians, install technicians, and other operations team members on the road and at the Baltimore HQ.

Requirements:

• Experience leading operations or field technician teams in a water filtration, wastewater, chemical, HVAC, or mechanical services company.
• Ability to be in the Baltimore office 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
• Ability to be out in the field as needed to support customers and technicians.
• Willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day field and internal operations.
