Job summary

The Facilities Group Hawaii is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Area Manager in Honolulu, tasked with leading and onboarding janitorial teams, maintaining client relations, and ensuring top-quality service across sites. You will drive, supervise, and coach staff, manage budgets and supplies, and collaborate with clients and the home office to resolve issues.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills are required, with a focus on reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory experience in janitorial/housekeeping or similar service.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Clear communication skills; basic English; bilingual (Tagalog/Ilocano) helpful.
• Ability to drive to client sites and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and onboard janitorial accounts, maintaining high customer service.
• Collaborate with clients and home office to resolve issues.
• Develop and sustain relationships with existing and new customers.
• Maintain quality control and lead team meetings.
• Hire, train, certify, motivate, and supervise a distributed janitorial team.
• Inspect work, manage labor and supplies within budgets.
