Job summary

CAMP Facility Services is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead our team of Superintendents in multifamily and commercial construction and renovation projects.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety, and relationship-building with clients and subcontractors, while driving schedules and quality across multiple sites. Travel regionally is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within the construction industry.
• Experience with renovation projects and managing multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcing compliance.
• Willingness to travel regionally 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach Superintendents to reach their full potential, fostering professional growth.
• Identify skills gaps and implement strategies to enhance the team's capabilities in the field.
• Collaborate with Superintendents onsite to ensure project quality, adherence to schedules, and safety compliance.
• Provide hands-on support and guidance during critical phases of construction and renovation projects.
• Oversee Superintendents project scheduling, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Monitor and enforce quality control standards to deliver exceptional results.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards.
• Address and resolve subcontractor performance issues effectively.
• Evaluate and identify areas for capability expansion within the field team and implement improvement plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and techniques to keep the company at the forefront of the construction and renovation industry.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the construction industry
• Familiarity with renovation projects and managing complex, multi-site operations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to travel regionally 50% of the time
• Proficient in ProCore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
