Job summary

CAMP Facility Services is seeking a Multi-Family Superintendent to lead on-site activities in the Houston area. You will manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals and standards.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, budgets, buy-outs, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Travel up to 75% locally, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required; multi-family preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75%.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Determine material, subcontractor and labor needs.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings.
• Coordinate on-site activities of Camp employees, subcontractors and vendors.
• Buy-out of jobs within a $5,000 budget.
• Assist salesman/project manager with buy-out over $5,000.
• Ensure jobs are on schedule and within budget.
• Review invoices and timesheets for accuracy.
• Travel locally to prepare estimates and establish operations.
• Identify and select local subcontractors and vendors.
• Keep costs low while maintaining high quality.
• Seek opportunities to improve efficiencies and outcomes.

How you will contribute to our TEAM:

• Prepare cost estimates, constructionbudgetsand construction schedules.
• Determinematerial,subcontractorand labor requirements.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings.
• Coordinate and direct all on-site activities of Camp employees,sub-contractors, craftsmen,tradesmenand vendors to ensure that Camp’s goals and standards are met.
• Buy-out of jobs within an approved construction budget of less than $5,000.00
• Assistsalesman/project manager with buy-out of jobsin excess of$5,000.00.
• Ensure that jobs are completed on schedule and on budget.
• Review invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Travel to remote markets to prepare cost estimates,establishoperations, follow local building codes, means and methods.
• Identify,investigateand select local subcontractors and vendors.
• Creativelyparticipatein building Camp’s success by keeping costs low and quality high. Seek outadditionalways to achieve excellence, both personally and corporately

Our Requirements:

• Ability to travel a minimum of 75% locally
• Construction experiencerequired,multi-family preferred
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in Procore preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suiterequired
• Excellent organizational skills
• High sense of urgency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, including ability to work with a variety of subcontractors
