Job summary

Tindall Corporation seeks a seasoned field erection supervisor to lead precast erection activities per engineering plans. You will guide Field Superintendents, coordinate with all departments, and ensure resources, safety, and schedule adherence on multiple job sites.

The role requires 3–5+ years supervisory experience in precast operations, OSHA 30 preferred, and a 4-year degree preferred. Travel: 3 days/week to sites; EAP compliance and safety focus emphasized.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certifications preferred.
• College degree (4 year) preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of precast experience preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for erection of Tindall products based on engineering plans.
• Knowledgeable in precast erection and support field superintendents in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide guidance and training to Field Superintendents on erection and field service plans.
• Coordinate erection and field service activities with all functions to optimize production and resources.
• Perform administrative activities for effective field operations management.
• Define responsibilities for assigned staff to achieve business objectives.
• Plan and schedule subcontractors.
• Contribute to R&D of new and emerging products input.
• Ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies.

Education

OSHA 30 Certifications

College Degree (4 year)

Precast experience (5 to 7 years)

Summary of Primary Functions

Responsible for erection of Tindall products based on Engineering plan specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in the precast erection process and able to support Superintendents in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Provides guidance and training to Field Superintendents in the development of the erection and Field Services process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and equipment needs.
• Support Field Superintendents in coordination of erection and field service activities with all other functions of the organization and supplies to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Performs administrative activities associated with effective management of field operations.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
• Plans for and schedules sub-contractors.
• Provides input in research and development of new and emerging products.
• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Provides input to the development of strategic plan of erection division.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Field Superintendents and / or Subcontractors.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certifications preferred.
• College Degree (4 year) preferred experience.
• 5 to 7 years of precast experience is preferred.
• 3 to 5 (+) years of supervisory experience is required.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and seldom more.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.

Travel Required

Employee will travel 3 days/week for day trips to job sites and occasionally will have to travel out of town for job sites.
