Job summary

Chugach Alaska Services, LLC (CAS) is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to support the Valdez Marine Terminal in a rotational field role with required travel. This full-time position emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a high-hazard environment.

You will operate oil moving and utility systems, perform heavy equipment tasks for snow removal, monitor maintenance work orders, and coordinate with other departments to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 3 years related experience.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass background check, fit-for-duty, and DOT pre-employment drug screening.
• Experience in industrial operations and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate oil moving and utility systems safely.
• Heavy equipment operation for snow removal.
• Monitor maintenance work orders and perform light maintenance.
• Work independently and with cross-department teams.
• Adhere to Alyeska and CAS policies and safety standards.
