Job summary

ASRC Energy Services is seeking a Valve Maintenance Technician on the North Slope of Alaska to install, repair, and maintain various valve types and related instrumentation. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and production in a remote, camp-based setting.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Alaska CDL, a current DOT Medical Card, NSTC safety certification, and at least 3 years of valve maintenance experience in oil & gas or Arctic environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand and prioritize safety, quality, and production in all tasks.
• ,
• Familiarity with Alaska north slope valves (gate, ball, plug, mechanically actuated, check, choke).
• ,
• Ensure use of sealants, greases, and injectable packings for each valve.
• ,
• Identify damaged or faulty valves and address leaks or malfunctions.
• ,
• Hydro-test repaired or rebuilt valves; read graphs and charts per API/ANSI and state codes.
• ,
• Read and comprehend Alaska Safety Handbook and maintenance manuals.
• ,
• Prepare routine reports and adhere to work-permit procedures.
