Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in utility vegetation management, arboriculture, or related field operations.
• Proven ability to lead field employees and multiple crews.
• Strong safety leadership and commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience coaching, developing and retaining employees.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
• Understanding of production, workforce planning, equipment utilization and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing operational and customer needs.
• Willingness to travel across Lewis operating locations as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. as required.
• Comfort with indoor/outdoor work in varying temperatures and noisy environments.
• PPE compliance per OSHA and ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with experienced utility vegetation management leaders for anticipated future Operations leadership needs.
• Lead multiple crews and oversee safety, production, quality, employee development, customer coordination and daily operations as a General Foreperson.
• Provide General Foreperson oversight, customer and contract accountability, business management, talent planning and territory support as a Supervisor.
• Lead larger operational teams and territories with responsibility for people, safety, customers, financial and operational performance, workforce planning and business results.
• Lead field employees and crews.
• Coach, develop and retain employees.
• Partner with utility customers and operational partners.
• Drive safe, productive business results.
• Travel across Lewis operating locations as needed.
