Job summary

EnviroVantage, a premier Environmental Remediation and Demolition contractor, seeks a Director of Field Operations to lead field teams and drive safe, on-time project delivery across active sites. You will shape field methods, optimize crew and equipment utilization, and align field execution with budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or related field preferred.
• 10+ years’ direct experience in Environmental Remediation and/or Demolition.
• OSHA training required.
• Excellent relationship and team building skills.
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite and a Construction Management software preferred.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all field operations across active projects.
• Ensure projects are properly staffed, sequenced, equipped, and executed to achieve schedule, budget, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Maintain visibility into all active projects, including project status, staffing, critical milestones, and risks.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to evaluate field performance and support field leadership.
• Resolve operational challenges related to manpower, equipment, sequencing, site logistics, subcontractors, and changing field conditions.
• Standardize field execution practices to promote consistency and operational excellence.
• Monitor field performance through labor productivity, schedule adherence, safety, quality, and equipment utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, field efficiency, and workforce effectiveness.
• Foster collaboration between Operations, Project Management, Safety, HR, and Leadership.
• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NESHAP, USACE EM 385, and client requirements.
