Groundworks in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Field Superintendent to lead field operations for foundation repair and related groundwork. You will supervise multiple crews and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and keep projects on time and within budget.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with project managers and clients, oversee logistics, and mentor staff. A minimum of six years in construction supervision is required along with a valid driver’s license and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Knowledge of foundation repair, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities for foundation repair and related services.
• Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce OSHA safety protocols on all job sites and promote a safety-first culture.
• Conduct quality inspections to meet design specifications and company standards.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Lead safety meetings and trainings for staff.
• Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access.
• Mentor and develop field staff and junior superintendents.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control for field operations.
• Maintain reliability in reporting to work on time.
