Job summary

S&K Building Services is seeking an Operations Manager to own field operations, scheduling, dispatch, and quality control in Michigan. You’ll lead teams, enforce safety standards, and drive accountability to deliver excellent service for every job.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of operations or leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to field management. Valid driver's license required, bilingual a plus, with a path to career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations, field service, or team leadership experience.
• Safety protocols and job site best practices.
• Ability to train teams and hold people accountable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organization and follow-through.
• Comfort with scheduling systems, inventory tracking, and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be in the field regularly.

• Lead daily field operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and job coordination.
• Keep safety at the forefront—conduct site visits and enforce company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop technicians to perform at their best.

• Manage inventory, equipment, and shop organization.
• Track job progress, handle reschedules, and keep communication flowing.
• Review completed work to ensure accuracy and readiness for invoicing.
• Support strong customer relationships through consistent execution and service.
• Jump into the field when needed to support the team and get the job done.
