Job summary

SPS PoolCare is seeking an Area Manager to lead a field-based team, coach staff, and ensure service quality on every route. You will ride along, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce safety standards while partnering with the Operations Manager to meet company goals.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to make quick operational decisions in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience in field operations or supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-service oriented with safety focus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive in field.
• Willingness to spend majority of time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to an assigned team of field employees.
• Maintain a strong field presence through ride-alongs, quality checks, field observations, and coaching.
• Train and develop employees on procedures, service standards, safety, and customer expectations.
• Monitor productivity, service quality, route execution, and employee performance.
• Identify performance or conduct concerns and escalate to Operations Manager.
• Conduct annual performance reviews with employees.
• Assist with troubleshooting operational, equipment, and customer concerns.
• Respond to escalated customer issues requiring field support.
• Reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and field performance.
• Support Operations Manager with staffing coverage and field communications.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
