Job summary

Slate is seeking a Field Operations Manager to be the boots-on-the-ground presence at partner sites in California, designing and refining wrap installation operations, auditing quality, and serving as the escalation point for roadblocks.

You will train partner installation teams on Slate SOPs, monitor KPIs, travel up to 20% within the region, and collaborate with the core team to drive timely resolutions and continuous improvement across installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in field operations, manufacturing operations, quality management, automotive services, or a related role.
• Strong ability to hold teams to high quality standards and drive corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Own installation quality at partner sites and perform audits of wrap installations.
• Train partner installation teams on Slate SOPs for consistent execution.
• Monitor site KPIs (throughput, defect rate, cycle time, SLA) and report trends with root-cause analysis.
• Escalate customer complaints and warranty claims and drive resolution within SLAs.
• Validate wrap kit receiving, VIN-to-kit matching, and inventory handling at partner facilities.
• Support launch readiness for new partner sites and assist with staffing/layout reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation speed, quality, and consistency; propose SOP updates.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with delivery partners for quick problem resolution.
