Job summary

VOS Infrastructure Solutions seeks an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee daily utility infrastructure and civil construction activities in West Coast Florida. You will coordinate field crews, equipment, materials, and project work to meet safety, production, and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple crews while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in utility construction, excavation, civil construction, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in Foreman/Lead Operator/Field Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, pressure digging, underground utilities, directional drilling, foundations, site restoration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations across assigned utility infrastructure and civil projects.
• Coordinate field crews, Foremen, equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Plan and communicate daily work assignments, production goals, equipment needs, and priorities.
• Monitor field activities for safety, efficiency, and schedule compliance.
• Oversee excavation, pressure digging, foundations, duct bank installations, directional drilling, and site restoration.
• Coordinate resources to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure accurate execution.
• Identify field challenges and implement timely solutions with Area Manager.
• Ensure proper jobsite preparation, protection, cleanup, and restoration.
