Job summary

Brightspeed seeks a qualified Supervisor, Field Operations to lead technicians and ensure high-quality residential and business services. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with contractors, and drive safety, training, and performance improvements.

The role requires 4+ years in telecom leadership, strong coaching abilities, and a proactive approach to stakeholder communication, with optional overtime and rotation in schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Previous experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment (4+ years).
• Strong skills in employee development, training, coaching, and mentoring in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as single point of contact between Brightspeed and Contractors for issue resolution.
• Lead training, coaching, and development to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Direct team to meet attendance and performance targets.
• Represent Brightspeed with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to maintain positive working relationships.
• Celebrate successes and motivate the team for continuous improvement.
