Job summary

VIP Petcare is seeking an Assistant Field Operations Manager to oversee field offices and clinics in the Lakeland area. You will lead operations, ensure policy adherence, and collaborate with the Field Operations Manager to drive service quality for pet parents.

You will manage staff across locations, participate in recruiting, training, and performance evaluations, and travel to clinics and headquarters as needed to support growth and ensure consistent brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Experience with human resources principles and basic accounting/math.
• Experience in operations management and leading teams.
• Ability to recruit, train, and evaluate staff at a location.
• Experience handling and lifting animals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage field office operations, facilities, and inventory.
• Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate staff.
• Oversee office and clinics as directed.
• Build relationships with host location staff and outreach groups.
• Communicate with Field Operations Manager to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Identify business opportunities at partner locations.
• Travel to community clinics and headquarters as needed.
• Support weekend clinics and after-hours on rigs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
