Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in materials testing or construction.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• ACI, ICC, MnDOT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and inspectors, including hiring, supervision, and training.
• Develop and implement CMT policies and best practices.
• Set goals with the Business Unit Manager and monitor safety, quality, and operations.
• Manage safety, quality, and operational excellence; communicate and implement safe work practices and conduct safety audits.
• Monitor budget, headcount, and backlog; coordinate with scheduler and regional operations.
• Perform quality control reviews and resolve issues on projects.
• Support client relationships to achieve departmental market and sales goals and strategies.
• Perform routine to complex field testing and inspections.
