Job summary

Terracon seeks a capable supervisor to lead a team of Engineering Technicians and oversee testing services on field and client-site projects. You will provide direct oversight, coordinate testing, scheduling, and training, and ensure project plans and safety guidelines are followed.

This role requires a strong background in engineering or geology, plus several years of supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 4-6 years' relevant experience in engineering or geology.
• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to technical field staff in performance of testing services.
• Monitor project progress and communicate resource needs to managers.
• Maintain project schedules and provide updates on project timelines.
• Plan, schedule and dispatch staff to project sites based on skills and location.
• Communicate with clients about project status and timelines.
• Provide guidance to ensure testing aligns with project plans and specifications.
• Lead safety efforts and promote pre-task planning on all projects.
• Assist with testing services as needed and contribute to proposals and cost estimates.
