Job summary

Ruppert Landscape in King of Prussia, PA is seeking an Assistant Field Manager to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials for landscape maintenance and snow removal operations. You will train team members, manage schedules, monitor costs, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role focuses on client relationships, contract renewals, and delivering value beyond the base scope while maintaining branch goals and financial health.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset and adherence to safety regulations.
• Two years of relevant industry experience and/or certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Emerging leadership skills and ability to lead and develop team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Solid knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and snow removal tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily production activities for maintenance contracts.
• Attend or conduct training sessions to support team development.
• Monitor budgets by reviewing hours, reports, and costs and communicate changes to crews.
• Inspect job sites to ensure quality and address issues.
• Assist with property inspections and timely submission of service reports.
• Identify opportunities for landscape enhancements and additional services.
• Cultivate strong client relationships to support satisfaction and renewals.
• Understand branch goals and financial position.
