Job summary

IPS is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for our Cary, NC office to support the Site Superintendent with work progress, manpower, and coordination among trades. You will help ensure subcontractor and vendor work aligns with contract documents and the project schedule, while compiling testing and close-out documents for the IPS Commissioning/Validation team and client.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
1+ years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Support the Site Superintendent with oversight of work progress and subcontractor manpower.
Coordinate correct work between trades and ensure safety and contract compliance.
Assist in collecting and assembling on-site testing reports, inspection reports, O&M manuals, and As-Built Drawings for close-out.
Help develop and maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.
Monitor subcontractor work to ensure alignment with contract documents and project schedule.
Maintain project documentation including daily activity records and punch lists.
