Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson (DL Required) to oversee daily field operations, train crew, and enforce safety standards on utility projects. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to interpret drawings and job orders.

The Foreperson will coordinate schedules, work with property owners, and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines while maintaining detailed records and managing costs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Independent action without close supervision.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Promotes safety and adheres to OSHA specs and company policies.
• Conducts safety trainings per procedures.
• Coordinates with property owners for access and work scope.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew performance reports.
• Controls crew costs and uses resources efficiently.
• Furnishes reports on completed orders and incidents as needed.
