Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking an entry-level Operations Floater at the Magnolia, Ohio terminal. This role supports the Facility Crew Chief with maintenance, housekeeping, and coverage for open positions across shifts.

You will travel to other sites as needed and learn all facility tasks while maintaining safety and daily records. You will complete required training, participate in drills, and work in variable weather.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with ability to use hand tools.
• Must be able to read and write and perform basic math.
• Some computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
• Good communication with coworkers and others on site.
• Self-motivated and able to take direction with limited supervision.
• Ability to work flexible hours and outdoor conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Crew Chief with maintenance and housekeeping at Magnolia, OH.
• Fill open positions during absences, including nights/weekends as needed.
• Learn all facility roles and cover vacations, call-offs, or leaves.
• Perform tasks in control room, inventory records, and other duties as assigned.
• Complete required training for Magnolia facility and follow safety practices.
• Participate in drills and inspections and support special projects from Facility Manager.
