Job summary

Paramount Facilities & Solutions in Columbus, GA, is seeking a dependable Janitor/Floater to keep spaces clean, safe, and welcoming while working across multiple locations. This role involves maintaining cleanliness across diverse areas and rotating between facilities as needed.

You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues in a team-oriented environment. Flexible schedule and the chance to contribute across sites are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently across multiple areas.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30+ lbs.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, or varying shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and workspaces to maintain health and safety standards.
• Float between multiple facilities or zones as needed to provide coverage and support.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal throughout the facility.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other janitorial consumables.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly.
• Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and facility-specific protocols consistently.
