Ergon, Inc. in Magnolia, Ohio is seeking an Operations Floater to support the Facility Crew Chief with maintenance, housekeeping, and coverage of open positions at the Magnolia Terminal.

This entry-level role requires willingness to travel to other facilities, learn every position, and cover vacations, call-offs, or medical leaves, including nights and weekends. You will perform general upkeep, assist with pipeline tasks, enter inventory data, and complete required safety training, while

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to work with hand tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read and write and have basic math skills.
• Must complete required documentation and have some computer skills.
• Must have good communication skills to interact with co-workers and outside parties.
• Must be self-motivated and able to take direction with limited supervision.
• This position requires flexibility regarding schedule and will involve working in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Crew Chief with maintenance and housekeeping at the Magnolia Ohio Terminal and Pipeline facility and fill open positions when needed.
• Cover open positions during absences, including nights and weekends.
• Learn all positions at the facility and cover vacations, call offs, and medical leaves.
• Perform general maintenance such as landscaping, painting, cleaning, equipment work, pipeline tasks, control room work, and inventory data entry.
• Complete required training and travel to other facilities as necessary.
• Follow established safety practices and participate in drills and inspections.
• Work on special projects as directed by the Facility Manager or Facility Crew Chief.
