Job summary

Purcell Facilities Management, based in Munster, IN, seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead all operating activities across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.

The GM will report to the President, oversee hourly, site-based teams, coach supervisors, and ensure consistent service delivery, quality, and customer responsiveness across locations. Travel across NW Indiana and Chicagoland is expected for this ELT role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in leading commercial cleaning or facilities management.
• Experience managing multi-location, hourly workforce.
• Ability to lead bilingual teams.
• Proven track record establishing standards and accountability.
• Strong problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Translate president priorities into operating plans across locations.
• Lead field operations with hands-on approach.
• Manage dispersed, hourly, site-based teams.
• Coach supervisors and ensure service quality and accountability.
