Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to join the Operation Christmas Child International team. The role manages travel for staff, international representatives, and volunteers, and supports seasonal events and inventory management of gifts and clothing.

An associate degree or equivalent is required, with data entry and MS Office proficiency, plus ability to work across cultures and travel ~35 days/year.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required and at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• General knowledge of data entry in various systems
• General knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PPT
• General knowledge of Outlook Calendar and scheduling
• Ability to calculate mathematical figures
• Ability to perform budget reconciliations
• Ability to learn new computer software systems
• Ability to communicate across cultures

Responsibilities

• Enter and update travel reports for International Field Representatives
• Manage travel processes for Operation Christmas Child staff, International Field Representatives, and volunteers
• Provide support for international seasonal events
• Assist in the selection, ordering, and inventory management of volunteer recognition gifts and clothing
• Other duties as assigned
