Job summary

ONE Gas invites motivated students to join the Summer 2027 Field Operations internship in Overland Park, KS. You will work on real‑world gas distribution projects, coordinate with teams, and gain exposure to field operations processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Construction Management degree, enrolled at KSU or PSU, with a 3.0+ GPA and demonstrated leadership or extracurricular involvement. Housing assistance and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Construction Management degree with graduation planned for 2027/2028.
• Enrolled at Kansas State University or Pittsburg State University.
• Maintain GPA of 3.0 or higher and engage in activities or leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate gas construction support with commercial/industrial customers.
• Assist in preparing estimates for construction and maintenance of gas distribution systems.
• Provide information to customers, contractors, and officials about construction activity and jobs.
• Confirm job readiness and approve crew assignments as prerequisites are met.
• Provide job status updates and information on next jobs during delays.
• Coordinate site pre-inspections, line locates, flaggers, and ROW permits.
