Job summary

Premier Trailer Leasing in Charlton, MA, is seeking a hands-on Operations Assistant to join our outdoor trailer yard team. You will inspect trailers, coordinate with vendors, generate rental agreements, and monitor equipment movement while ensuring safety and customer service standards.

This on-site role requires frequent outdoor work in all weather, travel to other locations nationwide, and the ability to relocate within 12-18 months. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are a must.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training preferred.
• Excellent communication, self-motivated, organized.
• Willingness to relocate within 12–18 months with relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of each workday outdoors conducting trailer inspections and yard activity.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to move and monitor equipment.
• Generate rental agreements and ensure compliance with policies.
• Track and reconcile equipment inventory for outbound and inbound activity.
• Assist in transporting equipment between branches and to customers/vendors.
• Verify insurance coverage prior to trailer rental.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable collections and daily admin tasks.
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries.
