Job summary

Wonolo is seeking an Operations Associate to join our growing team. You will be both customer-facing and worker-facing, ensuring smooth communication, staffing outcomes, and fast problem resolution across local markets.

This 4-month role is on-site in the Kansas City area, with occasional early mornings/evenings and travel to customer facilities. You will collaborate with the Market Team and other departments to improve processes and metrics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience and 1+ years in staffing/operations.
• Ability to interpret data and identify trends to make decisions.
• Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working on-site with customers/workers.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local contact for customers, ensuring staffing needs are met.
• Support sourcing, screening, and scheduling of hourly workers for open shifts.
• Build relationships with workers and resolve scheduling or payroll issues promptly.
• Respond quickly to day-of issues and coordinate solutions.
• Visit customer locations and coordinate with the Market Team on issues.
• Support new business opportunities with Sales team.
• Identify inefficiencies and develop improvements.
• Track metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Central Operations.
• Early mornings or evenings during peak periods.
