Job summary

Halliburton in Odessa, Texas, is seeking an entry-level apprentice who will receive industry-leading training in field operations. The role includes required CDL qualifications, safety-focused responsibilities, and hands-on experience with equipment, rigging, inspections, and maintenance.

During the 90-day training period, you will learn to follow HSE guidelines, perform routine tasks, and participate in on-call schedules and long hours under extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or Class B license depending on product service line.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and carry out routine instructions.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, you will learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures on equipment and tools for this job.
• Learn and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines and other safety and service quality protocols.
• Assist in pre and post job equipment inspections and associated paperwork/reports.
• Assist in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment, including high-pressure connections.
• Assist in completing preventative maintenance procedures and maintaining support equipment.
• Assist in clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.
• Practice safe driving procedures when traveling to/from locations.
• Complete training as required following the Company's development system.
