Job summary

Halliburton in Bossier City, Louisiana, is seeking an entry-level candidate for field operations. The position includes a 90-day training period with potential lodging and a rotating schedule depending on location.

You will learn safety, repair and operation procedures, perform basic equipment inspections, and assist with rigging and maintenance while working under supervision. A CDL may be required for certain lines.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to work long days and irregular hours.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or a Class B license depending on product service line.
• Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Undersupervision, learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures on equipment and tools.
• Learn and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines.
• Assists in the completion of pre and post job equipment inspections and paperwork.
• Assists in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment.
• Assist in completing preventative maintenance procedures and maintaining support equipment.
• Assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.
• Practices safe driving procedures when traveling to and from locations.
• Completes training as required following the Company’s learning development system.
