Qualifications

• High school or similar education is required.
• 0-6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I stated.
• May require I-Learn courses: Cementing II and Service Tools I.

Responsibilities

• Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment on work locations.
• Learn basic oil well operations including pipe capacities, volumes, and cement calculations.
• Assist in operation of cement pumping, blenders, metering systems, pumps, data acquisition, and ADC systems.
• Assist in pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and related paperwork.
• Understand hazardous materials handling and discharge procedures.
• Verify correct valve lineups on bulk systems and surface manifolds.
• Promote safety and environmental compliance and participate in quality improvements.
