Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking an Account Manager to oversee multiple client accounts and supervise site teams across various facilities. You will manage operations, ensure KPI achievement, and drive safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic account development, and proven ability to coordinate maintenance, training, and scheduling while ensuring budget compliance and timely reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years supervisory/management experience or degree from 4 year college or 2 year technical institute is preferred.
• Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance; Bachelors preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a maintenance field, two of which were supervisory roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitudes, and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to define and resolve problems quickly.
• Familiarity with current health and safety regulations; strong supervisory and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations to meet company standards and KPIs.
• Strategic account development and budget compliance.
• Oversee site management project teams and site personnel.
• Interview, hire and train new employees; respond to issues.
• Perform routine facility inspections and ensure safety policies.
• Record employees’ hours and time-keeping; supervise duties as needed.
• Prepare monthly reports on the condition of buildings.
