Job summary

The E3 Company is seeking an Operations Engineer in Meadville, PA, with hybrid field and office duties. You will provide technical support, perform RCA, and help with product development while liaising with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field engineering or applications engineering in oilfield services, familiarity with drilling/completions tech, and strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills. Heavy travel is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline preferred.
Minimum five years of combined field engineering, technical support, applications engineering, or technical sales in oilfield services.
Experience with drilling/completions products and US Land operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide direct technical support to field operations, customers, and vendors.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system issues.
Support field personnel during installation, commissioning, startup, and repairs.
Prepare technical proposals, product selection recommendations, and application write-ups supporting quotes, tenders, and RFPs.
Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customer teams.
Travel 40–50% across major US Land basins to support operations and field trials.
