Job summary

M/D Totco is seeking a Field Engineer to support NPD and sustainment activities. You will coordinate field visits, engage with operations, and help maintain product documentation.

The role requires field experience in oil & gas, knowledge of MDT technologies, and the ability to work across design and operations teams. Travel is expected (50% daily, 25% overnight) with opportunities for international projects in low-risk regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience in oil & gas drilling
• Familiarity with MWD, LWD, RSS, and MPD technologies
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 product suite
• Ability to create visuals to communicate plans and issues to stakeholders
• Self-motivated with strong time management
• Travel willingness: 50% daily, 25% overnight, potential international projects

Responsibilities

• Coordinate visits to field stores and rigs to maintain relationships and understand technician capabilities and customer expectations.
• Participate in design reviews and NPD cycle, raising issues to the design team promptly.
• Create, review, and revise product technical documentation.
• Manage software and configuration files for MDT products and deploy standardized processes.
• Plan testing of new products in lab and field environments with quantified objectives.
• Provide onsite and remote support for MDT products as needed.
• Collect and record feedback from Operations, identify root causes, and coordinate long-term resolutions.
