Job summary

Canine Companions seeks a Director Field Office to lead fundraising and field operations across a multi-county geography. You will drive donor acquisition, retention, and major gifts while coordinating regional programs and volunteer engagement.

The role requires a track record in achieving fundraising goals, excellent communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree preferred; CFRE a plus. Salary range shown reflects Colorado market.

Qualifications

• Must have a proven track record of meeting fundraising goals.
• Five and six figure gift solicitations experience.
• Able to balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Field Office Leadership: oversee revenue, public support, donor cultivation, and community outreach.
• Donor cultivation and solicitation: manage a portfolio of 75+ prospects with emphasis on $10,000+ gifts.
• Fundraising strategy: develop annual plans, budgets, and resources to meet income needs.
• Community engagement: promote partnerships and public presentations in the field office geography.
