Job summary

Colorado Mountain College Foundation seeks a Regional Development Officer to lead fundraising in the assigned region. You will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals, businesses and grant-makers to secure annual, programmatic and capital gifts.

The role collaborates with Campus VP(s) and Foundation leadership, plans donor events, travels regionally, and reports to the Director of Development. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of fundraising are expected; compensation range and

Qualifications

Experience in fundraising, donor identification, retention and growth.
Proven success with 4-6 figure gifts and major gift campaigns.
Knowledge of fundraising databases and MS-Office required.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships and manage a personal portfolio of 50-70 prospects/donors to solicit and steward gifts.
Coordinate with Foundation CEO and Director of Development for prospect strategy and tracking.
Plan and manage donor events to cultivate, solicit, and steward supporters.
Travel within the region to engage community partners and alumni.
