The director field office is responsible for contributing to the annual goals and the long-term field office fundraising plan to secure and grow Canine Companions’ financial support through individual, foundation, and corporate gifts as well as special events. This position serves as the management lead in the field office and is responsible for overseeing the daily business operations. Reporting to and working closely with the regional executive director, the director field office is responsible for planning, coordination, implementation and management of fund development, community outreach and general administration in the field office geography. They will work closely with the regional philanthropy team to identify, develop, and solicit community, local and regional funding sources. The position supports all regional fundraising events and related projects, volunteer activities, and has responsibility for soliciting gifts up to $100,000 with primary focus on gifts of $10,000 and above.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
Minimum 5 years of combined philanthropy leadership and fundraising experience in a non-profit organization. Proven ability to attract and optimize relationships with community, corporate and foundation leaders, donors and volunteers.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in field directly related to this role, or combinations of education and experience that would lead to the successful performance of the essential functions of the role.
Salary: $96,000-$101,000 annually
For internal candidates, compensation will be set within the posted wage range for the role, in consideration of internal equity and the scope of the position.

The base salary range above represents the low and high of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
