Balfour Beatty US is seeking an Office/Field Engineer to assist the Project Engineer and Superintendent with planning and daily execution of the project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related.
• S. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or construction management preferred.
• Computer knowledge of office suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of CAD, HCSS HeavyJob, and Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Safety meetings.
• Processing of submittals and request for information.
• Cost analysis and projections.
• Payment requisitions.
• Change order estimating.
• Supervision and quality inspection of field work (including night work).
• Procurement of materials.
• Subcontractor scheduling and coordination.
• Scheduling - use of critical path logic.
• Third party outreach / coordination.
