Job summary

Carlisle Medical, Inc. is seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager to cover Opelika, AL and surrounding areas. The role involves assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating injured workers throughout the case management process.

You will liaise with insurance carriers, attorneys, providers, employers and employees to facilitate return to work, using cost‑effective methods and in‑state regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing or CCM Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• State Certifications where applicable.
• Minimum of two years full-time direct clinical care; workers’ compensation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and educates injured workers on disability and treatment plans.
• Maintains professionalism and communicates with all parties in case management.
• Coordinates appointments and attends with injured workers; coordinates care.
• Coordinates medical assessments to develop cost‑effective treatment plans.
• Explores alternative treatment programs and monitors progress to minimize lost work time.
• Collaborates with employers on job modifications based on medical limitations.
• Prepares reports and documents case activity and billing hours.
