Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy in Baltimore, MD. You will build relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems while educating on disease states and referral pathways.

The role requires 5–8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, with preference for psychiatry/CNS experience. Travel up to 70% across the region and cross-functional collaboration are core elements of this field-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with payer processes, reimbursement, and site-of-care dynamics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the innovative mental health therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and optimized workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling and patient flow considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and connecting to resources.
• Gather and communicate field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric engagements.
