Job summary

Beam is building out its own GPU capacity across new data center sites and needs a hands-on data center network engineer to stand up infrastructure and drive deployments to completion.

You will deploy and validate data center network infrastructure, configure switches, cabling, and optics, and coordinate multi-site deployments with cross-functional teams. Expect travel 50–60% to onsite deployments and ongoing operational support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center network engineering with EVPN/VXLAN, BGP and CLOS.
• Ability to work in the field, wiring, switching and optical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and validate data center network infrastructure (front-end, back-end, BMS, management).
• Configure switches, install optics, coordinate cabling, drive deployments to completion.
• Ensure connectivity meets production standards; validate fiber and OTDR traces; document as-builts.
