Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for our healthcare client in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking, including switches, routers, and Cisco IOS XE environments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting escalated incidents, configuring Cisco devices, monitoring performance, and applying network security standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network engineering or network support experience.
• Experience in the healthcare field (hospitals, doctors offices, clinics, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco IOS XE.

• Perform network monitoring, analysis, and performance optimization.

• Participate in network upgrades, maintenance activities, and change management processes.
• Create and maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 support, engineering teams, and vendors to resolve complex issues.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and Cisco IOS XE environments.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR/ASR routers, and wireless technologies.
• Exposure to network automation tools such as Python or Ansible.
• Experience supporting multi‑site enterprise environments.
