Essintial Enterprise Solutions, LLC is seeking a T2 Technician to provide hands-on network, cabling, and field technology support at commercial customer locations. The technician works independently on network infrastructure and handles day-to-day field service tasks including POS support, deskside support, hardware deployment, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, IT support, network installation, field services, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Cat5e/Cat6 installation, termination, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, PoE and basic firewall/switch concepts.
• Ability to work independently with network infrastructure and complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and common IT troubleshooting steps.
• Ability to read technical instructions, diagrams, port maps, and project docs.
• Proficiency with standard cabling tools and basic network diagnostics (ping/traceroute).
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Travel up to 75% and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work on ladders up to 12 feet.

Responsabilités

• Install, terminate, test, label, route, dress, and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 cabling per project.
• Install and support racks, patch panels, switches, routers, firewalls, APs, faceplates and related gear.
• Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Assist with desktop/laptop deployments, imaging, upgrades, and hardware replacement.
• Support user account setup, password resets, and basic app troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity, hardware, software, and end-user issues.
• Read wiring diagrams, port maps, and project documentation; document results.
• Coordinate with customers, site contacts, location managers, and remote teams.
• Complete photos, work orders, tickets, and docs on time; follow safety protocols.
