Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Oncology – Melanoma and GI Tumors. This field-based role involves peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with regional and national Thought Leaders and healthcare professionals to translate data into clinical insights for patient care.

The MSL will support pre- and peri-launch activities, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide medical insights to cross-functional partners while ensuring compliant communication and engagement.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in scientific, clinical, or research environment.
• Strong oncology experience; GI preferred.
• Field medical experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of Thought Leader engagement and healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Thought Leaders through high-quality scientific exchange.
• Engage in proactive and reactive scientific dialogue to inform medical strategy and support product lifecycle.
• Deliver educational presentations and updates in person and virtual formats.
• Collaborate with medical societies, PAGs, and guideline committees.
• Provide training and support for external speakers and engage payers in pre- and peri-launch phases.
