Bank of Colorado is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans for resale on the secondary market and to develop relationships with realtors and contractors in Colorado. You will be responsible for pricing, documentation review, and ensuring borrower creditworthiness in line with FNMA, FHA, VA and NIFA guidelines.

The role requires travel away from the employer’s place of business, quick responses to inquiries, and the ability to cross-sell bank products.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of mortgage loan originator experience required.

Aufgaben

• Create new customer relationships and develop realtor/referral network; travel away from employer's place of business.
• Respond quickly to walk-in or phone requests.
• Review loan applications to ensure proper documentation.
• Track loan status daily and update reports.
• Cross-sell bank products and in-house loans.
• Prepare and deliver early disclosures to borrowers for all approved loan applications.
• Price loans at appropriate rates.
• Review loan declinations with underwriter and follow up with customers.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to assist with other duties as assigned.
