Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate service and repair on tractors, trailers, chassis, containers, or power equipment. You will work outside of the shop, servicing equipment at customer sites or rail yards using our mobile service truck.

The role involves preventive maintenance, ABS troubleshooting, and mentoring trainees, with safety as a priority. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for equipment up to 10,000 lbs or 21+ for heavier equipment with 2 years of maintenance/repair experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record per JB Hunt guidelines; may supply own basic tools or buy through toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements; able to work across multiple shifts, including nights/weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors/trailers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair ABS systems; operate mobile service truck on site.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of tractor technician trainees; follow safety requirements onsite.
