Job summary

Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join our recently acquired Corcoran Fleet Services, to support our combined future growth.

The Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics, licensed DOT inspections, and other duties as assigned at our customer locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• Two years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own set of hand tools to perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and perform work at customer locations, mostly outdoors.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems and other components.
• Document findings, parts used, and RO in company systems.
• Maintain vehicle and tools, adhere to safety policies.
